Ingredients

  • 🥤 Ingredients:
  • 1 ½ cups water
  • 1 romaine heart
  • 2–3 celery stalks
  • 1 handful of spinach
  • 1 apple (seeds removed)
  • 1 pear (seeds removed)
  • 1 banana (peeled)
  • ½ lemon, freshly squeezed

Instructions

  1. Prepare your ingredients: Wash all produce thoroughly. Chop the romaine, celery, apple, and pear. Peel the banana and remove seeds from the apple and pear.

  2. Add water first: Pour 1 ½ cups of water into a high-powered blender with a large blending container. Use the measurement lines on the blender to guide you.

  3. Blend the greens and fruit: Add all ingredients except the lemon juice to the blender. Blend on high until everything is well combined and smooth.

  4. Add lemon juice: Squeeze in the fresh lemon juice and blend again for a final mix.

  5. Store and enjoy: Pour into 500ml mason jars. This smoothie tastes best fresh but can be stored in the fridge for up to 2 days.
